 No, this price is for everyday of the week. Friday is the most popular day for us for weddings. Then Saturdays. 

 There needs to be 1 month notice to your celebrant before you can marry. You will need to complete the "Notice of Intended Marriage" form with your celebrant. 

They will need to identify you and complete the form, documenting the documents they have used to identify you and to also to prove you are over 18 and free to marry. 

To complete this form celebrants will need the details of your parents such as their full names (currently and at birth) and their place of birth. 

 I need a photo identification document - driver's licence or passport. I also need to have details of where you were born - birth certificate or passport. If you have been married before, I need to see evidence of divorce. If you are a widow, I will need to see a death certificate. If your divorce is pending, that is ok as long as it has been granted by your wedding day. 

  Absolutely I am. Love is love. I have married same sex couples in the past and I am sad you would need to ask this.  

 Most ceremonies take around 20 - 30 minutes. If you would like to add, a reading, a ritual such as a sand or candle ceremony it could take longer. 

 Underwood Park at Priestdale on the southside of Brisbane is my favourite place. There are a few reasons for this:

•  It’s free to marry there
• The council are easy to deal with to get a permit 
• There is plenty of close free parking 
• It is beautiful any time of the year 
• There are many places in the park for different photos 
• There are toilets 
• There is easy wheelchair and pram access 
• It is in the middle of Brisbane and the Gold Coast 
• There is constant wildlife - ducks are often waddling over the bridge 
• During the week it is quiet and you have the park to yourself 
• The council seems to have it pretty maintained every time I have married someone there
